Gold Okafor received a B.S. in Biopsychology with a minor in Feminist Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2016. She is currently a Junior Research Specialist in Dr. Scott Grafton's lab. Here she contributes to projects that use neuroimaging and psychophsyiological techniques to research cognitive perception, decision making, exercise physiology, stress, and fatigue. In the future, she hopes to pursue a PhD with a focus on using social cognitive and neuroscience techniques to investigate computational models of intergroup decision making during acute stress and threat.
