Mary H. MacLean is a postdoctoral researcher working with Dr. Barry Giesbrecht. At UCSB, Mary’s research examines how endogenous factors such as preparation and motivation can influence the allocation of attention. Mary will be using behavioral and imaging (EEG/fMRI) techniques to approach the study of this topic. Mary is especially interested in how oscillatory brain activity is indicative of fluctuations in mind states.
Mary received her Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience from Brock University.
