Pete Khooshabeh

Adjunct Assistant Professor


Dr. Pete Khooshabeh is with the US Army Research Laboratory, West Coast campus, which is co-located with the USC Institute for Creative Technologies. Using multi-disciplinary methods such as virtual reality, eye tracking, and wearable psycho-physiological recording, his work studies how individual differences and contextual factors affect decision making, emotions, and moral reasoning. At UCSB, he collaborates with Prof. Jim Blascovich and the ReCVEB, Prof. Rene Weber and the Media Neuroscience Lab, and with faculty and students from the UCSB Center for Spatial Studies. Pete received his Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley and his PhD from UCSB.
