Rory Flemming

Junior Specialist


Rory received his bachelors of science in Neuroscience (Honors) and Psychology with minors in Bioengineering (Signals & Systems) and Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017. He worked in Timothy Verstynen’s Cognitive Axon Laboratory at Carnegie Mellon University (2013-2017) where he conducted studies on the integration of reward and sensory information in risky, uncertain sensorimotor tasks. He is interested in building a strong theoretical and computational toolkit for studying biological learning, information processing, and control. He currently works as a research specialist in Dr. Scott Grafton’s Action Lab where he contributes to projects on sensorimotor integration, action intention, decision-making, and cognitive performance under stress, pressure & fatigue.
