Congratulations to Brenda Major and Tessa Dover, co-authors of the paper “Presumed Fair: Ironic Effects of Organizational Diversity Structures,” (Kaiser, Major, Jurcevic, Brady, Dover, & Shapiro, 2014) which was selected as co-winner of the 2014 Gordon Allport Intergroup Relations Prize. This award is given annually by the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues for the best theoretically or empirically original paper or article of the year on intergroup relations. This is third time that papers authored or co-authored by Professor Major have won the award, testament to the high quality of scholarly work going on in her lab.
