Midterm 1 Information
- Midterm 1 is Monday, October 22nd
- The exam will be multiple choice and short answer. Please bring a Par-score form (the pink one).
- The midterm will cover all lectures and the following readings:
- Ridley: Ch. 1-3
- Gaulin & McBurney, 2001, pp.64-79
- Haig, 1993
- Dugatkin, 1997
- Kaplan, 2000
- Dunbar, 1998
- Bird, 1999
- Trivers, 1971
- Last office hours before the midterm:
- Tuesday, Oct. 16th from 10-12
- Office Hours after the midterm:
- Office hours for Tuesday, Oct. 23rd are canceled.
- Instead, office hours will be held on Thursday, Oct. 25th from 10-12.
- Midterm scores will be posted by perm number on the course website for those students who grant permission to do so. If you would like your score posted by perm number, please sign the confidentiality waiver after class or during office hours.
Midterm 2 Information
- Midterm 2 is Wednesday, November 14th
- No class Monday, November 12th (Campus Holiday: Veteran's Day)
- The exam will be multiple choice and short answer. Please bring a Par-score form (the pink one).
- Midterm 2 will cover all lectures since midterm 1 and the following readings:

- Tuesday, Nov. 13th from 10-12 in Building 429, Room 215

Final Exam Information
- The final exam is Wednesday, December 12th, 12-3pm
- You may have the entire 3 hours to complete the exam, however I expect most students to finish in 1 1/2 hours.
- You must begin the exam at 12pm. Exams will not be given to late-comers after the first person has finished and left the exam.
- We will review for the final in class on Friday, Dec. 7th. Please be prepared with questions!

- Approximately 2/3 of the final will cover new material since midterm 2
- Multiple choice and short answer sections similar in length to the first two midterms
