Lisa Scocchia is an Italian visiting graduate student from University of Milano-Bicocca, where she works in a Perception and Action lab. As a graduate student, she studied the interaction between the visual and the motor systems in reading and in perceiving a dynamic visual illusion known as the Flash-Lag Effect. At UCSB she is studying haptic perception and space and she is collaborating with professor Jack Loomis. Her main interests are space perception and cognition, haptic perception and the interaction between the visual and the motor systems.
