Rita Silva is a visiting researcher from the Higher Institute of Applied Psychology (ISPA) based in Lisbon, Portugal. There she’s working with Professor Teresa Garcia-Marques, and her main area of interest is Social Cognition. Her PhD research (due on 2011) focus on the study of familiarity and of different sources of processing fluency, and the roles they play in the regulation of information processing (from a dual-process perspective).
