Emmanuel Schneider received his Ph.D in cognitive psychology from University of Burgundy in Dijon, France, in 2007. He worked as assistant researcher in the laboratory for research on Learning and development (LEAD), a unit of the national center of the scientific research and of the department of Psychology of the University of Burgundy. He also worked as an assistant researcher at the University Institute for Teacher Education of Burgundy. His Ph.D research focused on learning from animation and multimedia context. He is currently using eye tracking and comprehension measures to investigate the understanding of mechanical systems. His main interest are comprehension from animation, multimedia learning, individual differences, and eye tracking.
