Takeshi Hashimoto is a visiting researcher from Shizuoka University, based in the Central area of Japan. His Ph.D. was conferred March 1999 and his research focuses on the interactions between interpersonal relationships and health. More precisely, he is interested in comparative impacts of stress-preventing relationships (social support) and stress-enhancing relationships (interpersonal stress) on psychological adaptation. He is currently collaborating with Associate Professor Kim Heejung and plans to explore the cultural differences of social support and interpersonal stress.
