Dr. Robert Sherman is a licensed clinical psychologist and tenured member of the Psychology faculty at UCSB who is interested in cognitive-behavioral approaches to psychotherapy, as well as community applications of behavior-change procedures. Educated at Columbia University (B.A.) and Yale University (M.S., Ph.D.), he is a former President of the UCSB Chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, the UCSB Chapter of the American Association of University Professors, the Santa Barbara County Psychological Association, and the Santa Barbara Mental Health Association. He also coordinates the Psychology Department's Teaching Assistant Training Program, and is Faculty Advisor for our chapter of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology. He has been honored with many biographical citations including Marquis publications Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, and Who's Who in America.
