Heejung Kim received her first BA in French Literature from Ewha Women’s University in Seoul, Korea, and her second BA in Psychology from the University of Southern California. She received her MA and PhD in Social Psychology from Stanford University in 2001. After receiving her PhD, she was hired as an assistant professor at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA until 2003 when she moved to UCSB. She has a number of publications on culture, cognition, and choice. She is the recipient of the 2001 Society of Experimental Social Psychology Dissertation Award and a research grant from Social Science Research Council. Contact Information
