Congratulations to Karen Szumlinski, Assistant Professor, who received the 2007 Young Investigator Award from the Research Society on Alcoholism (RSA) The Award is given biannually to a scientist under the age of 40 who has made an outstanding contribution to the neurobiology of alcoholism. Karen received the award for her research on the role of glutamate receptor signaling and Homer proteins in sustained excessive alcohol consumption.
