CLICK HERE FOR an application for the 2008-2009 school year.
We are currently accepting applications for research assistant positions
in our lab. If you are interested in acquiring research experience for
graduate school and learning more about psychology research, this is an
excellent opportunity to get involved!
Typical research assistant responsibilities include running participants
in experiments, data entry, coding video and physiological data, participant
rescruitment, and other miscellaneous activities. Psy99/199 credit is
available. Volunteers are welcome.
Applications are available on the bulletin board outside of Psych 1515,
or you can print out a copy of our application here.
Completed applications can be submitted to Dr. Major's mailbox in the
Psychology Main Office.
Requirements: No experience is necessary. You will receive training
in our research methods. We seek mature undergraduates with a 3.0 GPA
or above. Applicants must be highly reliable, responsible, and motivated.
Availability of at least 10-12 hours/week and a 2-3 quarter commitment
are preferred. Male and female applicants from diverse backgrounds are
desired. Although many of our assistants are Psychology majors, we encourage
students from all majors to apply!
